Cardstock Warehouse – Fall Wreath

Cardstock Warehouse – Fall Wreath

Hello dear friends and happy Tuesday! Welcome to my blog.

Today, I am featuring cardstock from the Cardstock  Warehouse, one place that will never disappoint you in quality of cardstock.

I have been using this brand of cardstock for at least 3 years and one of the main reasons why I always come back to it is because it’s made in the US, and of course the quality of paper.

A while back I made a wreath for Valentine’s Day (click HERE for details) and I got inspired to do something similar for Fall and Thanksgiving. I always wanted to decorate my home for Fall, and I was always missing a wreath for this time of the year, so I decided to make one.

I already had some cardstock handy and ready to be used. The only things that I bought were a wreath base, ribbon and some fall floral decor at Michael’s. Michael’s had a great sale last weekend and the whole thing cost me about   $25.00.

And this is how I made my wreath.

I found an image of a rose at Cricut Design Space and created several different sizes. Once that was done, I fired up my Cricut maker and went to town with cutting shapes for my flowers.

I took a quilling tool for much faster handling. Simply insert the paper between the two teeth and keep turning the tool until you get the shape if a flower, and then simply glue it together.

It really did not take that much time to quill all that paper and make flowers.

Next, I wrapped the orange ribbon around the wreath base and secured it with hot glue.

I then attached the florals and simply glued the paper flowers to the wreath until the entire wreath was completely covered with paper roses.

Next, I made loops out of three different ribbons and hot glued them on the wreath.

I then created the tails from the same ribbon I used for the bow, and simply attached it with hot glue, and the wreath was done!

This wreath is one of my favorite projects I have ever made.

I absolutely love it and cannot wait to see it on my front door.

I will be updating you on fall decor soon.

Stay tuned.
