Hello friends!
Today, we are continuing with the Spellbinders new release for the month of June. The inspiration for today is the brand new hot foil plate called ¨Glimmering Best Day” (click HE) and this is one of the most versatile foil plates out there. You can use it for so many different occasions and to commemorate any memory you have.
This is the hot foil plate that I will be using today and it also comes with the coordinating die. That way, if your project is big, like mine is today, you can just simply die cut it and attach it to your project.
And just like I did in my previous project, I will be using
Please keep in mind that you do not have to have a large die cutting machine. Any die cutting machine will work.
Before we begin, let’s do some housekeeping first. Here is the list of the remaining items that you are going to need and that I used in this project:
The first thing I always like to do is to get die cutting and foiling done first. Since Ii wanted everything to match the base, I used the same cardstock to create embellishments. As you can see this sentiment came out so beautiful!
Next, it was time to die cut a bunch of leaves and flowers. I used the remaining 12×12 sheet white cardstock for the petals and one 8.5 x 11 sheet of silver metallic cardstock for the leaves.
Next, I used tools from the tool kit and shaped the flowers.
And then I shaped the leaves.
And finally, I glued them all together.
I had these little corners in my drawer from a previous project and I added them to my photos for some extra details. If you wish to use them in your project click HERE.
Next, I arranged my elements on the 12×12 page and what I fond that is the fastest and most useful is to attach my embellishments with hot glue.
And, at the end, I used beautiful, sparkling gems from Spellbinders and put them in the centers of the flowers, which gave such a good and finished look.
And the project is done!
I love how this turned out. I love that it did not take me a lot of time to complete the project, and now, I have a new memory to add to my album of best days!
Thank you for visiting me today.
I hope you like this project and if you have any questions and/or suggestions please let me know. I am always happy to help.
Cheers!
