Howdy,
Today I have two cards ready for you. Both of them are inspired by the cards created by Nicole Picadura and let me show you how I created them.

The first card is all about simple and clean layering . There is not a lot of difficult techniques, it is just simple stamping direct on paper. This technique is great for creating quick cards and perfect for mass producing.
You do not need a lot of supplies for this design and this is what makes this card great.
But, no matter how many times I try to make something like this, it just simply does not work. :) And here is how my card turned out:
For my design I used a Hellebore layering stamp set. This is stamp set is part of Altenew monthly release “Build – A – Flower” that you can subscribe for. It really is great! Each month there is a different flower that you can layer and create fantastic realistic flowers or color them the way you prefer. There are no rules when it comes to crafting!
So, I first created masks and I fussy cut them all. These images are so simple and easy to cut, so there was no reason for me to use a die cutting machine. Next, I simply stamped my images directly on paper and the paper I used is Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110 lbs. I used my cut outs to mask my stamped images and create a cluster of flowers in the middle of my paper. My intention was to create an A7 (5″ x 7″) card with nice bouquet of flowers in the middle, but as it often happens in my case things don’t always go as planned. You see, when I was done layering my flowers and when I took all the masks off, even with all the vibrant colors the image looked so blend and I simply had to do something about it. I tried different things and nothing seemed to bring the card to life. And then I decided to simply trim the image, use a gold card stock as a border and attach it to the card base. And that was it! I then created a sentiment and attached it to the same gold card stock so it will match the design. I embellished it with some gold jewels and the card was done!

This is my project inspiration NO 2.
Again, the same technique, stamp layering without using a stamp positioner.
I used the same layout and colors but different stamp sets.
For my design I used Vintage Roses Stamp and Die Set. The inks I used are See Glass, Ocean Waves, Dusk, Desert Night, Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Jet Black. I then stamped the images using stamping bocks. And these images were super easy to line up. After I was done with stamping, I die cut some images, created a sentiment, put a foam tape on the back and glued it to my design. I decided to add some “Wink of Stella” to my die cut pieces and attach everything to the card base. And that was it. Simple and easy.

Thank you for visiting me today and I will see you back soon with another post.
