Hello and welcome to another post!

Last weekend was super fun and I have to share some of that fun with you.

Last weekend I was honored to, for the very first time, hold a live class for Altenew. It was an amazing experience and I loved every minute of it. The class started with Virginia’s pompous announcement with one of her famous cow bells.

I had about 2 hrs to teach and explain my creation, and let me tell you, that was not enough time! The time flew so fast, just like it was 45 minutes or less. We were laughing and chatting along. Bridget Casey was my moderator and I could not have done it without her! She was ready to jump in and finish my sentences when I would get stuck, she read the questions and made me look less nervous.

Let me tell you more about Altenew Craft Your Life Retreat. Altenew created this retreat for all crafting people with or without any crafting skills. It is a wonderful way to learn and spend the entire day face to face with certified Altenew educators. If you are not an experience crafter, this is a chance to learn how to use certain tools; and if you are an experienced crafter, on the other hand, you can develop a new skill or learn a new trick. It truly is a wonderful way to spend a day interacting with Altenew Educators. You get to ask questions and also share your opinions and ideas. When you sign up for the retreat, you will receive a package full of goodies to help you create beautiful projects. You will also get the access to the FB group where you can interact with other crafters and educators; you can share your designs and ask questions that you might have. Overall, it is a very cool thing!

And this is how it looks behind the scenes, if you were ever wondering. This is my little studio that is about to change soon, and this is a story for another time.

And while we are behind the scenes, let me introduce you to my supervisor. Her name is Minu. Nothing ever gets done until my supervisor checks it. I came up with a new slogan “Checked by Cats. Approved by Cats.”

As you can see, there is always a lot of fun when you are card making or crafting and no day is the same. It really is a perfect way to fight depression, anxiety, boredom and/or any other condition that you might or might not have; a wonderful way to connect with happy people and wake up the creator in you.

So, now you see what you missed last time. The next retreat will be in May with some new, fun, unique and super creative ideas. I hope to see you there!
