Layered & Multicolor Wax Seal Techniques with Lana Taber

Layered & Multicolor Wax Seal Techniques with Lana Taber

I’m so excited to officially open registration for the second workshop in my free monthly series, Seal the Moment with Lana! ✨

This month’s class, Layered & Multicolor Wax Seal Techniques, is all about taking wax seals beyond the basics and creating designs with more depth, structure, and dimension.

We’ll be exploring ways to build layered wax seals using multiple wax elements to create polished, elevated finishes that feel intentional and refined. These are the kinds of details that can completely transform a handmade card and make your projects feel extra special.

For this class, I created two elegant card designs featuring soft blue, white, and gold tones paired with detailed frames, texture, pearls, and layered wax seal accents. I wanted these projects to feel timeless, dimensional, and beautifully cohesive while still keeping the techniques approachable and fun.

One of my favorite little details in these cards is the subtle matting behind the main panels using the same cardstock color as the die-cut frames. It adds just enough extra depth and interest while keeping the entire design soft and coordinated.

I’ve also included a curated supply list for the workshop, along with the core supply list used throughout the series. And as a special bonus, Altenew is offering a 20% discount on selected class supplies for workshop participants.

To register, simply email lanabylanadesign@gmail.com with “May Workshop” in the subject line, and I’ll send you all the class details along with the discount code.

These workshops have quickly become one of my favorite things each month, and I’m so grateful for everyone who continues to join, create, and share this creative space with me 🤍

I can’t wait to create with you!
