Ep. 3 Casting a Warm Hello
We’re sailing into Episode 3 of Slimline Heaven, and this one’s soft, sandy, and full of texture. I wanted this card to feel like a warm breeze from the coast — and with real sea shells, starfish, and the elegance of BetterPress stamping, I think we got there. 🐚
The sentiment says it best — this card is a message in a bottle (or maybe a shaker window) sent from somewhere serene. The combination of fine navy rope lines, genuine miniature sea treasures, and a soft shaker movement makes this project calming, heartfelt, and just a little playful. Created with the BetterPress plate of the Month Club, this card is a little ocean on paper, with so much texture and dimension that will absolutely wow anyone who receives it.

🔧 Construction Tip:
To hold the 3D elements inside the shaker, I used a bit of depth behind the window and a clear acetate dome up front. It’s secure, but the elements still move slightly like drifting tide treasures — and I absolutely love that gentle motion.
